The Perfect Lovers

The Perfect Lovers were formed in 1983 in Hornchurch, Essex. The duo became good friends after sharing a mutual love of electronic music and the synth-pop scene of the time. Initially starting out with a Roland SH09 we started creating some tracks described by b-movie frontman Steve Hovington as “fairly primitive!”

Bands from the Some Bizarre Album were big influences Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, Naked Lunch, b-Movie, Blancmange, and The The to name a few as well as OMD, and Gary Numan

We have come a long way since then but still a two-piece.
